Car Care Tips
- Do not wash your vehicle for 3 days to allow the Diamond Gloss® to completely cure.
- It is recommended you do not take your vehicle through a drive-thru car wash.
- Hand wash your vehicle on a regular basis to avoid excessive contamination buildup. Avoid washing in direct sunlight to avoid streaking and water spotting. Wash from the top down leaving the dirtiest sections for last to avoid cross contamination. Use separate soap and sponge / wash mitt for wheels.
- Always dry completely. Tap water contains minerals that may leave water spots. Use quality microfiber towels for best results. Never use aggressive products to polish the coating to remove surface contaminates.
- Never use excessive force to remove spots. Bird droppings, tar, tree sap, etc., should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining or hardening on the coating. Any staining left behind from the bird droppings will break down over a few days without affecting the coating. For assistance with contamination removal or advice on maintenance for your vehicle please contact your local Ziebart.
